No matter what people say about the quality of southern rap, the south really does produce some spitters. Not everybody does snap music or comes up with the next weak ass dance. . . Some rappers down south really do the damn thang! Right, Three Stacks?

I'm Just So Fresh, So Clean!
Joe Simon is an R&B artist who honed his skills in the Baptist church. Although he is from Shreveport, LA, Simon's biggest hits came when he under the production of Gamble and Huff (you know, the architects of the Philly soul sound!) Simon also wrote and produced the theme for the blaxploitation film "Cleopatra Jones".

A Little Willie Hutch
A sample you BETTER recognize, and one you may not, from one of the most recognizable musicians of the 70's blaxploitation era., Willie Hutch. Both tracks are from the soundtrack to The Mack, starring Max Julien. If you haven't seen it, i suggest you do so immediately.
