Dragostea Din Tei

Just Blaze has a very sick, twisted sense of humor, lol. He took the song from one of the most parodied videos off YouTube and turned it into a #1 hit single for Clifford. You, my friend, are officially a genius.

Oh, and just google "Numa Numa". You'll know the video as soon as you see the screen cap.

We can pop bottles all night. . . .

More Bill Conti. I've been listening to some old T.I. recently, and he has to win the award for best improved EVER!

I'm Just Doing My Job

If you EVER had to hustle (whether it be legal or illegal, I'm not here to judge), this is your theme song. You could tell Tip was really spittin from his soul on this track. This is about as personal as a track could get, and it came perfectly.

Bloodstone was a popular group that fused rock, R&B, funk, and gospel into an incredible blend of music. Bloodstone was instrumental in the "black rock" and funk movement of the 1970s, and they also performed with Marvin Gaye, Curtis Mayfield, Elton John, and The Impressions.

What You Know About That?

Just some more from the incomparable Roberta Flack. This time, we have her version of The Impression's "Gone Away". It was sampled by T.I. for the first single from King, "What You Know".

That's right, a cover was sampled. Keep up, kids.

Essential Isley Brothers

If you were born between . . . let's say. . . . 1960-1985, you were probably made to these brothers right here! Needless to say, these brothers are legends. Fresh outta Cincinatti, the Isley Brothers hold the record for being the longest-running charted group in music history. Can you believe that they started back in 1954?!

To all the ladies in the place
Wit style and grace
Allow me to lace
These lyrical douches
In ya bushes. . . .

Yea, he was that serious.
