So I was just doing some research on Herb Alpert, and I'm pretty convinced now that he's just the king of music. Aside from being a member of Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass, he has also sold nearly 80 million albums in his lifetime. That includes 14 platinum and 15 gold albums. And he's also the co-founder of A&M Records, former home of Janet Jackson, Carole King, and Styx, just to name a few.
