Still Misunderstood

I got a treat for the homies out there. Just a lil gem from Tha Carter III that uses the same Nina Simone track Common got busy on on Finding Forever. Weezy OWNS this track, then just spills his guts about everything for like 5 minutes. . . .

Tha Carter II drops June 10th. Cop it.

Lil Wayne - Misunderstood

I'm Just A Soul Who's Intentions Are Good. . .

. . . . Oh lord, please don't let me be misunderstood. Wow.

My secret crush Krystal sent me this request, so I had to honor it ASAP. Hopefully, I can swindle another date from this one. . . . .

Of course, you know Kanye's gonna chop another Nina Simone track up* and do it justice. But then he let Common murder it this time?! That's just not fair. . . .

Common- Misunderstood

*I stand corrected. My man Kyle just informed me that this is NOT a Kanye West production, but rather Devo produced this. Gotta give credit where credit is due. Good look.

Will I Run To The Rock?

Oh sinnerman, where ya gon' run to?

Nina Simone - Sinnerman**

Talib Kweli - Get By

**a few other people have used Nina Simone's version (like Timbaland for "Oh Timbaland" off Shock Value), but I like Kanye's production on this Talib.
