Never Been In Love Before
The Imaginations were formed in upstate New York in the 1960s. Although they got their start as background singers, The Imaginations secured several hits throughout their career, such as "Guardian Angel" and "Hey You".

Don Randi & Blackstar
Don Randi was a member of the legendary "Wrecking Crew". (a group of top Los Angeles session musicians in the 1960s best known for their work on Phil Spector productions, and The Beach Boys "Pet Sounds" album.) I love this Black Star album, too. . . when Def and Kweli getting back together for another album!?

Will I Run To The Rock?
Oh sinnerman, where ya gon' run to?
Nina Simone - Sinnerman**
Talib Kweli - Get By
**a few other people have used Nina Simone's version (like Timbaland for "Oh Timbaland" off Shock Value), but I like Kanye's production on this Talib.
