That Cuba Gooding Jr.'s father was in the Main Ingredient?
The Main Ingredient is an American soul and R&B group. They were originally formed in Harlem as a trio called the Poets, but a couple of name changes, they became The Main Ingredient in 1966. They are famous for their hit "Everybody Plays The Fool". Their lead singer passed away in 1971, and he was replaced by Cuba Gooding, Sr. I know what you're thinking. . .
And yes. That is his father. I had no idea, either. . . and if you've seen Baby Boy (a hood classic), it's Omar Gooding's dad, too.
