The more I dig in the crates for you guys, one thing becomes more and more apparent: Philly might be the most important city when it comes to the old soul music.
Dexter Mansel is a keyboardist out of West Philadelphia. He is seen as a contributor to the "Philly Sound", having worked with the renowned Gamble and Huff of Philadelphia International Records. Some of his collaborators include The Jacksons, Phyllis Hyman, Teddy Pendergrass, and Lou Rawls.
